Income Tax Rates S. Con. Res. 70 (Roll Call 61)

The Senate defeated an effort to make it more difficult for the Senate to pass income tax increases. ACU favored this effort, which received a majority of 58-40 on March 13, 2008. Under Senate rules, at least 60 votes were required to pass the amendment.
