Spending Cuts and Debt Reduction S. Con. Res. 70 (Roll Call 66)

The Senate defeated an amendment cutting spending for $750 million worth of programs rated “ineffective” by the Office of Management and Budget. ACU favored this effort which failed March 13, 2008 by a vote of 29-68.
